There are just 2 stages remaining in this years ABSA Cape Epic. Stage 6 of the Epic takes place today in Oak valley, Grabouw, with the interest centered on attempts by Burry Stander and Christoph Sauser of Songo.com to close the gap on the Bulls, the overall leaders, who took the top spot after a time penalty was imposed on Songo.com on Wednesday.
The Bulls Team of Karl Platt and Stefan Sahm maintain their overall leader position in the Men's category (21:46:46). They finished in ! 4th place yesterday (04:21:09) and will again be wearing the Yellow Leaders jersey out of Oak Valley. Karl Platt rode bravely, finishing the stage with a dislocated shoulder, and he will be in huge pain for the remaining 2 stages. the race ends at Lourensford Estate on Saturday.
